If you decide that I may be able to help you and wish to engage my services, you would need to complete these steps:

designate me as your representative before the IRS on Form 2848--Power of Attorney and Declaration of Representative,
agree to scope of my professional services to be rendered, generally limited to COD income issues, and
agree to the terms of payment for my services to be rendered.

I will promptly prepare and mail (or email) to you the Form 2848 along with a written statement regarding my services to be rendered. The amount of the fee and terms of payment are always set forth in writing, and you are under no obligation to accept anything. You have the right to revoke the Form 2848 designation at any time.

My fee is based on a number of factors, but with consumer debt, my fee usually is less than 5% of the amount of debt cancelled, with a minimum charge of $249.00. I accept checks, money orders and PayPal.

Please note that I am an attorney registered with the IRS and licensed by the Supreme Court of Ohio, and that my services would be limited to federal tax matters only, unless you live in Ohio. I may not be able to offer my services to you because of limitations placed upon me by laws or regulations of the state where you live. I reserve the right not to create an attorney/client relationship with you or anybody.

I am a 1980 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where I was student articles editor of Law Review. I began my legal career at Schwartz, Manes & Ruby Co., LPA, a medium size law firm which concentrated in tax law. After 14 years, I left to practice law as a solo practitioner. Throughout my 27 years of practicing law, I've been a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association (currently on fee arbitration committee), Ohio State Bar Association and American Bar Association (currently in the practice management section).
